Riley laughed whlie I tickled her and it was so cute! Be on the look out for a video of this. Talk about melting your heart! I just wanted to keep her awake so she would laugh again! :) This is getting to be alot of fun watching her change.

Big girl Riley rolled over yesterday! I was at a friends house and while I went to the bathroom Riley decided to roll from her back to her tummy adn then back onto her back! Yes, Mommy missed it, but Riley was such the performer that she did it again. She was so pleased with herself that she just wanted to keep doing it! Riley is standing with Mommy's help too! This girl wants to get up and move! We are really enjoying her now!

Grandpapa Monk has been super generous and gave us a mini-frig so that I can give Riley her medication without going down our steep stairs in the middle of the night! Some of you know that I have taken a tumble down the stair several times and it was only a matter of time before it happended again. I guess Grandpa figured that I was like Rob and that I am an accident looking for a place to happen! :) It has made getting up in the night not as bad-so THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Patti Stone is one of daddy's colleagues at Cisco. She is a good friend and fellow Christian who wanted to do something really neat for Riley and her parents. Patti really enjoys sewing and embroidering in her free time, so she took Krista to the fabric shop to pick out fabrics for a bedspread she would make for Riley's nursery. She made a reversible bedspread -- this side is vibrant with the nursery colors, and the other side has additional color with a frog fabric --- if you did not notice, frogs are the theme of the nursery. What a wonderful gift this was -- we wanted to show it off here. The next post will have a picture of the other side of the bedspread.
